March 13-18, 2005, Conference on Scientific Computing ALGORITMY 2005, Vysoke Tatry, Podbanske, Slovakia

Strakos was a member of the scientific programme committee of the special section on applications in linear algebra. ALGORITMY 2005 was organized by the Department of Mathematics and Descriptive Geometry, Slovak University of Technology, in collaboration with the meeting "Computational Linear Algebra with Applications".

Strakos was invited for a plenary lecture. This 16th edition of the Householder Symposion has been organised by the Department of Computer Science of the Cornell University and the Pennsylvania State University.

Marek and Blaheta were members of the Scientific Committee. Blaheta organized, jointly with U. Langer (Linz) and S. Margenov (Sofia), the special session "Robust Algebraic Multigrid Methods". The conference was organized by the Institute for Parallel Processing of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
