Strakos organized the invited minisymposium on Iterative Methods (speakers: Ernst, Arioli, Rozloznik, Liesen). Strakos was invited for a minisymposium presentation on the history of Applied and Numerical Linear Algebra. The GAMM-SIAM Conference was organized by the universities of Duesseldorf and Wuppertal, in cooperation with ILAS.
